United Methodist Association of Preschools FL
The United Methodist Association of Preschools was established for the purpose of supporting and encouraging high quality, Christian, Early Childhood Education in weekday programs connected with the United Methodist Churches in the Florida Conference.
There are several levels of membership:
Accredited Membership: Accredited membership is attained by a Christian Early Childhood Program that completes the Accreditation process and is evaluated and certified as having met and maintained the minimum standards. You must be a UMAP General Member to apply for Accreditation and be licensed by a State Agency (ex. DCF) and carry liability insurance. Accredited Members shall receive all appropriate correspondence from UMAP. Each accredited school shall have one vote at the Annual Meeting. New Director information here
General Membership: General Membership is available to Christian Early Childhood Programs that desire the professional support of this organization. General Member programs must be licensed by a State Agency (ex. DCF) and carry liability insurance. Each program must submit an application and send the appropriate fees for this membership level. General Members shall receive discounts for UMAP events, receive newsletters and other correspondence, and shall have one vote at the Annual Conference. Membership Application. PLEASE NOTE: This application is for NEW schools ONLY! This form is NOT for yearly dues and renewal.
Individual Membership: Individual Membership is for the person who would like the support of an Early Childhood organization. Individual members shall receive discounts for UMAP events, receive newsletters and other correspondence. This level of membership keeps anyone, anywhere, abreast of our activities and educational opportunities. Individual members will be issued a membership number and certificate.
